The For-Good Awards are an annual, purely non-profit award in China that draws on international thinking and is open to Chinese social enterprises, impact investors, business-for-good companies, business-for-good entrepreneurs and academic researchers. They aim to recognise and encourage social-value enterprises, ESG impact investors and individuals with notable contributions to the field who use business model innovation to solve social and environmental problems sustainably and at scale. Since 2017, the awards have been held five times, with more than a thousand companies from across China taking part in total. A number of companies showcased through the For-Good Awards have gone on to attract the interest and capital of impact investors.
As a Fellow Partner, WeCarbon will work with Xiangguang Future, Cyzone, the China Economic Media Think Tank and other organisations to help Chinese business and investment rediscover their mission, use business methods to solve social problems, and develop for good towards a green future.
This year's awards opened on 11 July and applications close on 28 August (applications for the ESG impact investment categories close on 18 September). Interested companies can contact us by email; after an assessment, we can recommend them for entry through a fast-track channel.
