As one of the early planners of Shanghai Climate Week, a signatory service provider of the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI) and a partner of Chinese ministries, WeCarbon has long followed global climate change and worked in depth in ESG and sustainable development. It uses advanced technology to enable low-carbon pathways and provides sustainability and ESG transition solutions driven by sustainable business value, helping financial institutions, governments and companies respond to climate change together.

Responding to climate change is now a global consensus, and climate weeks are becoming platforms for all parts of society to focus on climate change and showcase climate action. Going forward, WeCarbon will continue to work with all parties to develop Shanghai Climate Week into a globally influential non-governmental platform for international cooperation and exchange on climate change, and into a climate week brand on a par with those of New York, London and Paris. It will also use this global platform to help develop standards aligned with international benchmarks and to share China's "climate voice".

About Shanghai Climate Week

Guided by the motto "China's Action, Asia's Voice, World Standards", Shanghai Climate Week aims to promote multi-level participation across society in China's sustainability commitments, tell the world China's story of climate action, convey Asia's voice on the green transition, strengthen international exchange and cooperation on climate change, and take part in shaping and leading international rules. Its goal is to become a global brand for green and sustainable development rooted in Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta.
