Founded in 1961, CITEPA is a non-profit organization under the French Ministry of Ecological Transition and the body designated by the French government to compile emission inventories and projections. A reference body in air pollution and climate change, CITEPA draws on a multidisciplinary team of engineers to provide services spanning emission inventory compilation, technical guidance, emission audits, advanced research and tool development, specializing in greenhouse gas and air pollutant inventories while exploring the joint management of air pollution and climate change. CITEPA serves clients in France and abroad and takes an active part in international reviews under the United Nations framework. It has become a neutral reference for public bodies and private companies assessing and projecting greenhouse gas and air pollutant emissions.
