WeCarbon's China Partner Speaks at Forum on Women's Resilience Driving Sustainable Development

WeCarbon's China Partner Ms. Mia Zheng was invited as a guest of the forum "Women's Resilience Driving Sustainable Development", part of the event series "Women's Energy Code: Embracing Resilience".

On 5 March 2025, the event series "Women's Energy Code: Embracing Resilience" was held at the Xingyang West Bund Centre in Shanghai. The series brought together influential figures from psychology, sustainable development and other fields for in-depth discussion of two core topics, "Women's Mental Health and Social Support" and "Women's Power Driving Sustainable Development", sharing ideas and energy to advance social progress. WeCarbon's China Partner Ms. Mia Zheng was invited as a guest of the forum "Women's Resilience Driving Sustainable Development".

The series was co-hosted by Fanyintang, Henderson Xingyang West Bund Centre, Tianzi Tea Forest and the Xurou Project. Alongside themed forums, it featured an "Energy Market", where "energy partners" working on sustainable development, physical and mental wellbeing and public-interest causes met visitors on site. In recent years, government bodies from the ministries down through every level have issued a series of ESG-related policies, cascading from central to local level, and have used regulatory measures to push companies to pay attention to ESG and put it into practice. She expects the government to further encourage and support the spread and deepening of sustainable behaviour such as waste sorting and recycling, giving ESG development more practical momentum. In an earlier interview, Ms. Zheng said that women have a better grasp of emotion and human nature than men. Science and technology innovation may sound driven by logic, but at heart it is dynamic collaboration between people and does not depend on technical strength alone. "It all comes down to people" is the overlooked underlying logic, and lasting success is always built on the art of "balancing" talented people of every kind. As a women-led technology company, WeCarbon will keep working with like-minded partners in ESG to drive joint innovation between women's leadership and ESG projects, contributing to a green, low-carbon future.
