2025 Climate & Sustainability Photography Awards Ceremony Held in Beijing
On 12 October, the 2025 Climate & Sustainability Photography Awards Ceremony and Sustainable Art Salon was held at WF CENTRAL in Beijing. With an awards ceremony, roundtable discussions and an exhibition of shortlisted works, the event brought together guests from international organisations and many sectors of society to discuss new paths for global environmental governance and sustainable development, celebrate this year's winners and share a visual feast themed "Symbiosis".

In today's global economy, as ESG principles have become widely embraced, disclosing non-financial performance through ESG reports has gradually become the norm for companies, giving investors and the public an important basis for assessing corporate sustainability. Research shows that the average disclosure rate of the N100 companies (the 100 largest companies in each sample country) has risen significantly over the past three decades, from 12% in 1993 to 79% in 2024 [1], and remains high. However, as the number of reports has surged and the disclosure environment has matured, attention to and doubts about their quality, professionalism and credibility have kept growing, creating an urgent market need for ESG assurance.
