Before the summit, WeCarbon founder Eric Ma gave an interview to the NEX organising committee, reviewing WeCarbon's progress over the past year and sharing his valuable experience as a member company of the NEX climate tech accelerator. He said he looked forward to working with the NEX platform and more industry partners to advance climate fintech in China.
In the company showcase, Eric Ma gave an in-depth introduction to WeCarbon's core products and technical strengths.
As a signatory service provider of the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and a company on a national ministry's whitelist of carbon neutrality service providers, WeCarbon builds on its in-house WeCarbon Cloud carbon neutrality management platform and its supporting AI core products. It addresses clients' two main pain points in sustainability and ESG, "disclosure compliance" and "value creation", by tackling the root problem of "carbon data trust". WeCarbon aims to become the central brain for sustainability and ESG work in key industries, providing end-to-end management across five application scenarios: disclosure compliance and green certification, green finance, carbon and energy management, carbon assets and trading, and ESG management.
