Launched by H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) is the largest sustainability-focused global platform in the Middle East and Africa. It plays an important role in driving resilient growth, enduring partnerships and sustainable progress, convening decision-makers to forge partnerships, mobilise investment and advance practical solutions across energy, technology, water, nature, food and industrial transformation.

As a member of the ADSW Advisory Board and a supporter of multiple programmes, WeCarbon's founder has helped deliver more than 10 key agenda items at the event, connected more than 40 heads of state, ministers and leaders of international organisations together with SIEF, and launched ClimateTech In Focus: Artificial Intelligence for Sustainability at the Blue Forum as knowledge partner.

Held in Abu Dhabi on 6–7 October 2026 under the theme "Global Collaboration for Food Security for All", the Global Food Security Summit 2026 brings together governments, international organisations, financial institutions, investors, industry leaders, researchers and innovators to address the challenges shaping global food systems.

Together with SIEF, WeCarbon delivered an Evane.ai-based programme management solution for GFSS 2026, supporting the successful delivery of the Global Food Security Summit.

Since 2008, the Zayed Sustainability Prize has been empowering global changemakers, recognising their innovative sustainability solutions and amplifying their transformative impact.

With the support of WeCarbon's founder, leading projects were shortlisted for the 2026 Zayed Sustainability Prize.

Held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 11 to 22 November 2024 under the Presidency's slogan "In Solidarity for a Green World", COP29 became known as the "Finance COP": it agreed a new climate finance goal calling on developed countries to provide at least USD 300 billion a year to developing countries by 2035.

At COP29 in Baku, WeCarbon launched the ClimateTech In Focus: Innovations for a Greener Supply Chain report.

Held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from 30 November to 12 December 2023, COP28 concluded the first global stocktake of the world's efforts under the Paris Agreement and closed with an agreement that signals the "beginning of the end" of the fossil fuel era.

WeCarbon was selected by the COP28 organisers as one of 100 climate-tech innovators worldwide.

Dubai AI Festival is where the world's top minds in artificial intelligence converge and do business, driving new connections between businesses, governments and thought leaders.

WeCarbon has brought multiple globally leading AI ecosystem companies into collaboration with DIFC Innovation Hub, Ignyte and Dubai AI Campus.

Initiated by more than a thousand ecosystem partners worldwide, supported by the United Nations and the Chinese government, and joined by government, business, academia and civil society, Shanghai Climate Week is a climate-action exchange and cooperation platform of global influence, built with the city of Shanghai as its backdrop. Guided by the principle of "China Action, Asia Voice, Global Standard", it aims to encourage broad participation across society in China's Sustainability commitments, tell the world China's story of climate action, carry Asia's voice on the green transition, deepen international exchange and cooperation on climate change, and take part in shaping and leading international rules.

WeCarbon proposed Shanghai Climate Week in 2021; its founders hold core roles on the Executive Committee and the Youth Council; and WeCarbon is knowledge partner for the annual flagship report ClimateTech In Focus (CTIF).

The World Economic Forum is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation, engaging the foremost political, business, cultural and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.

APCIC is the carbon-neutrality community of the Asia-Pacific Model E-Port Network (APMEN). APMEN was approved by the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting in 2014 to improve supply-chain connectivity across the Asia-Pacific by conducting trade-facilitation research and promoting sustainability and data connectivity between ports.

Founded in 1989, the China Energy Conservation Association (CECA) is a national first-tier association in the energy-conservation sector registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

WeCarbon is a committee member of CECA's Carbon Neutrality Committee and a member of its ESG working group.

Hosted by Shanghai Climate Week, the Climate and Sustainability Photography Awards aim to enhance public awareness of sustainable development through real imagery, inspiring people to rethink ways of establishing harmonious coexistence with the natural world.
