WeGreenPass, the cross-border green compliance platform developed in-house by WeCarbon, has gone live on the Shanghai Green and Low-Carbon Supply Chain Public Service Platform (the “Green Chain Platform”). Users can now go directly to the WeCarbon website from the home page of the platform's “Carbon Reduction” section.
The Green Chain Platform was jointly built by the Baoshan District People's Government of Shanghai and the CN100 (Carbon Neutrality 100) Green and Low Carbon Supply Chains Alliance, with the aim of building a green, low-carbon supply chain management system suited to China's conditions and compatible with international rules. It mainly serves members of the CN100 Alliance and companies upstream and downstream in their supply chains, and brings together a group of internationally influential green, low-carbon supply chain lead companies and professional service providers to support a healthy market. Going forward, the Green Chain Platform will continue to support the green, low-carbon economy, improving standards-based measurement and data collection for product carbon footprints, helping key industries cut carbon at critical points in their supply chains, and promoting green, low-carbon development in the region. Its goal is a product carbon footprint standards system that serves the whole country, connects with the world and achieves international mutual recognition.
WeGreenPass is a one-stop cross-border green compliance platform developed in-house by WeCarbon. Through four guided services, “report, verify, reduce and offset”, it helps companies resolve carbon border tax challenges with ease. The platform has a rich set of modules designed for importers, freight forwarders, exporters and producers, and, through our partnerships with professional certification bodies, supports companies all the way from data processing and certification to emissions reduction and offsetting. Designed around the user experience, WeGreenPass offers features such as production process identification, built-in emission factors, information linking and carbon border tax calculation, and automatic generation of standard reporting documents, and also supports customised service plans, strengthening companies' compliance and carbon management capabilities across the board.
