About the event
In the global response to climate change, technology is becoming a core force in reshaping the path to sustainable development. During Social Impact Week, the annual flagship event of the Global Shapers Beijing II Hub, Ms. Remoca Shi, Founder of WeCarbon, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Climate Week Executive Committee and Secretary-General of its Youth Council, and Mr. Eric Ma, Founder of WeCarbon, will join the roundtable "Technology for Sustainability" to explore technology-driven solutions for the green transition with industry practitioners.
The roundtable will focus on how technology can support the digital, intelligent and low-carbon transformation of global supply chains, and how frontier technologies can help decarbonise hard-to-abate sectors such as steel and energy. Mr. Eric Ma will share how WeCarbon's innovative AI solutions support key sectors such as shipping, logistics and global trade, improving efficiency, solving pain points and moving from tools to systemic value. Energy transition analysts, climate tech entrepreneurs and young leaders will also discuss key strategies for investing in green technology and building sustainable supply chains.
