On 30 May 2023, the Yangtze River Delta Technology Achievements Roadshow – Shanghai (Zhangjiang) Session took place at the Shanghai Technology Exchange. After several rounds of selection, WeCarbon's "WeCarbon Cloud" carbon neutrality management platform was chosen from more than 1,000 applicants to present at the roadshow.

The roadshow was held under the guidance of the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality and the Shanghai Office for Promoting the Construction of the Science and Technology Innovation Center (Administrative Committee of Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone), and hosted by the Shanghai Technology Exchange. It aimed to connect innovations with industry and finance across the Yangtze River Delta, bring technology together with capital and industry, and support the commercialisation and financing of high-quality technologies from Shanghai. The event featured 72 technology achievements in fields including next-generation information technology, biomedicine, energy conservation and environmental protection, high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials and new energy. The selection recognises WeCarbon's expertise and forward-looking work in carbon neutrality technology.
WeCarbon's founder gave a full presentation and demonstration of the "WeCarbon Cloud" carbon neutrality management platform. WeCarbon is a signatory service provider of the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI) and a carbon service provider recognised by national ministries. "WeCarbon Cloud" starts from "carbon data trust" and offers a fully online, traceable calculation system covering all CCER/CDM/VCS methodologies. It provides a one-stop answer to common problems across industries, such as non-standard carbon management, high carbon verification costs, difficulty realising carbon value and untrusted carbon data, and automates the whole process of sustainability disclosure compliance and value creation.

Going forward, WeCarbon will build on this opportunity, making full use of the policy and resource advantages of the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality and the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone. Using capital to empower technology, it will strengthen the application and commercialisation of its innovations, support companies in their ESG and sustainability transition, and contribute to economic development in the Yangtze River Delta.
