From 3 to 4 November 2023, the 2023 3rd Boao Carbon Neutrality Conference, co-hosted by the China Energy Conservation Association (CECA) and the China Quality Certification Centre (CQC), was held in Boao, Hainan. During the conference, the 2023 "CECA Innovation Award – Carbon Neutrality Enterprise Contribution Award" ceremony took place. WeCarbon received the "Excellent Zero-Carbon Technology Solution" award for its strong performance in carbon neutrality solutions.

Themed "The New Era of Carbon Neutrality: Opportunity, Development, Coexistence", the conference brought together experts from government, business, industry, academia and research to discuss the transformation of global development and governance paradigms. At the roundtable "Finding a Path to Coexistence in Green Development", Ms. Mia Zheng, ESG expert with the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) and Partner (China) at WeCarbon, spoke as a panelist.

The conference also reviewed the major events and achievements in carbon neutrality in 2023 and recognised brands and companies for their contributions to the field, including Ant Group, Envision Group, Yili Group, Master Kong, Grundfos (China) and Orient Securities. The award is strong recognition of WeCarbon's expertise and service.
