After rigorous review and selection by the Suzhou AI Industry Innovation Center, WeCarbon Zhigu, a WeCarbon subsidiary ("WeCarbon"), has been selected for and officially joined the "Pivot Accelerator" of the Microsoft Innovation Empowerment and Ecosystem Acceleration Program – Suzhou AI Industry Innovation Center (the "Innovation Center").

On 14 January 2024, the Asia-Pacific Young Entrepreneurs Leaders Annual Conference was held in Beijing. WeCarbon founder Remoca Shi was invited to attend as a representative of outstanding young entrepreneurs.

Hosted by the Asia-Pacific Entrepreneurs Association (APEA), the annual conference aims to further implement the spirit of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meetings, giving young entrepreneurs and founders in the Asia-Pacific a platform for exchange and cooperation and advancing business development across the region. Under the theme "Extraordinary Leaders, Shining Future", the programme included remarks by APEA advisers, the launch of the Asia-Pacific U30 list, guest speeches and a roundtable of young entrepreneurs, bringing together distinguished figures from government, business and academia across the Asia-Pacific to discuss the opportunities and challenges for the region's economic and social development in a changing landscape.

As a signatory service provider of the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and a company on a national ministry's whitelist of carbon neutrality service providers, WeCarbon has, since its founding, been committed to using advanced technology to support companies' green development and low-carbon transition, taking concrete action on climate change and shouldering the responsibility of young entrepreneurs today.
Going forward, WeCarbon will continue to engage deeply in ESG, climate change and sustainable development and to advance the green, low-carbon development of companies across the Asia-Pacific, living up to the mission of young people through concrete action, sharing development opportunities and building a sustainable future together.
