WeCarbon Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Jiangshan Energy Group

WeCarbon has signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Jiangshan Energy Group Co., Ltd.

WeCarbon recently signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Jiangshan Energy Group Co., Ltd. (“Jiangshan Energy Group”).

Jiangshan Energy Group is a Chinese provider of integrated low-carbon solutions. Aligned with China's national sustainability strategy, it has dual headquarters in Beijing and Guangzhou and operates nationwide. Its initial focus is on chemical industrial parks serving eight energy-intensive industries, where it works with partners to extend and complete park value chains, including industrial planning, infrastructure investment, upgrading and renovation, and investment attraction (including new materials and new energy industrial parks). Building on this, it secures the energy supply for green parks across all forms of integrated energy, including wind, solar PV, microgrids, energy storage, green hydrogen, green ammonia, green methanol, green fuel (SAF), combined cooling, heating and power, EV charging, battery-swap stations, energy-efficiency retrofits and source-grid-load-storage systems (virtual power plants), providing full-lifecycle services from planning and investment to construction, operation and maintenance.

As a signatory service provider to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI), one of the early preparatory organisations of Shanghai Climate Week, and a company on a national ministry's carbon neutrality services whitelist, WeCarbon combines professional, forward-looking and practical services with its hands-on ESG experience in China and overseas to support investors and companies with their ESG needs, unlock ESG value and create mutual benefit.

The two parties reached agreement on cooperation in ESG training, sustainability and ESG projects, standard setting and resource sharing, and set up mechanisms for cooperation and communication. Going forward, they will draw fully on their respective expertise and resources to deliver sustainability and ESG projects across sectors, helping build a green, low-carbon and sustainable industrial ecosystem and supporting China's sustainability goals.
