During the meeting, the parties reached an important consensus on cooperation on, and promotion of, the next edition of the ClimateTech In Focus report. WeCarbon supports the report as Knowledge Partner, and the 2024 edition, "ClimateTech In Focus: Innovations for a Greener Supply Chain", was widely well received. Mr. Basilio spoke highly of the report, calling it a useful reference for the region's green transition. He said that APEC's platform would be used to increase the participation of Southeast Asian member economies, inviting experts from the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam and other countries and including relevant case studies. There are also plans for a series of exchanges and workshops in these countries to share experience and turn findings into practice.

The parties also discussed ways to build mechanisms for sustainable development cooperation in the Asia-Pacific, with plans to advance climate tech topics through forums and events and to co-host themed roundtables that promote cross-regional cooperation. Mr. Basilio praised Shanghai Climate Week's "Climate Community" concept, noting its broad appeal and its ability to mobilise many stakeholders and set an example.

As one of the early founding and organising partners of Shanghai Climate Week, WeCarbon has followed climate developments with a global perspective and continued to deepen collaborative innovation in sustainability. Going forward, WeCarbon will continue to use international cooperation as a bridge, working with partners to advance sustainable development and bring more momentum to global climate governance and the transition to a green economy.
