On 18 September 2025, Siemens held its 34th Innovation Salon online under the theme "The Sustainability Revolution: The Rise of 'Green Intelligence' from Policy to Industry". Mr. Eric Ma, Founder of WeCarbon, joined as a guest speaker and gave an in-depth talk on "Innovative Practices in AI for Sustainable Supply Chains".

The salon focused on the profound shift of sustainability from policy advocacy to real-world industrial practice. It examined the core logic and practical paths of the green transition from several angles, including the underlying logic across the whole value chain, low-carbon intelligent solutions and the evolution of AI-driven "carbon management brains". The event aimed to help participants understand policy trends and market opportunities, see how "green intelligence" can move industrial systems from passive emission reduction to active efficiency gains, and witness the power of technology to reshape the future of industry.

In his talk, Mr. Ma presented WeCarbon's solutions and projects in four core scenarios: industrial parks, shipping and logistics, testing and certification, and global trade, showing how AI addresses the real pain points companies face in compliance, efficiency and decarbonisation. WeCarbon's in-house product portfolio, including the WeCarbon Cloud carbon management platform, the Formist AI form-filling system and an AI fleet management system, is already used in many industries and helps companies make their supply chains more sustainable.

The exchange allowed WeCarbon to discuss with industry peers the value AI can bring to sustainability. Going forward, WeCarbon will continue to use AI as its core driver, address the green transition needs of the entire sustainable supply chain, and work with partners to build AI-driven industrial collaboration.
