On 31 May 2026, the inaugural members' general meeting of SWCC (the women entrepreneurs' association of the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce) and the inaugural SWCC Women CEO Conference were held in Shanghai. Leaders from the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Shanghai Committee of the CPPCC, the United Front Work Department of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and other bodies attended, together with representatives of international organisations, chambers and associations, business, academia and other institutions, and the association's founding members, marking an important milestone in bringing together women's strength to serve high-quality development. WeCarbon's China Partner Ms. Mia Zheng was invited to attend and was formally appointed a Council Member of SWCC.

The conference launched the "Global Female Entrepreneur Innovation Development Service Platform". Drawing on Shanghai's openness and its links with the world, the platform will work on international exchange, resource matching, industrial cooperation, joint projects and capacity building, building a global cooperation network.

The conference held in-depth discussions on global economic trends, artificial intelligence, corporate governance and women's leadership. A keynote speech, "China's New Globalisation Strategy amid De-globalisation", examined the global economic situation, the international development of companies and Chinese companies' participation in global competition. Two roundtables, on "Global Competition in the Wave of AI" and "Women's Leadership in Modern Corporate Governance", brought together executives and industry figures from technology, manufacturing, finance, consumer goods and professional services, who shared insights and practical experience.
