On 11 June 2026, the Abu Dhabi Investment Forum (ADIF), hosted by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) and Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), was held in Shanghai. WeCarbon Founder Ms. Remoca Shi and Founder Mr. Eric Ma were invited to attend and joined government and business representatives from China and the UAE in exploring potential future cooperation between the two markets.

The forum focused on strategic sectors including investment, technology, advanced industry, entertainment and manufacturing, with the aim of deepening economic, trade and investment cooperation between Abu Dhabi and Shanghai, and China more broadly. H.E. Rashed Abdulkarim Al Blooshi, CEO of the ADGM Registration Authority; Xiao Guiyu, Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Committee of the CPPCC; and H.E. Hussain Ibrahim Al Hammadi, UAE Ambassador to China, were among the guests who attended and delivered opening remarks.

In the panel discussions, guests exchanged views on forward-looking topics including immersive entertainment, the autonomous driving economy, cross-border investment opportunities and advanced manufacturing, and company representatives from China and the UAE shared the latest developments and cooperation prospects in their fields.
