The second edition of GFSS took place on October 6–7 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi as part of Global Food Week 2026, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA). Evane™, WeCarbon’s proprietary AI project management agent, powered the Project Management Office (PMO) of the Global Food Security Summit (GFSS) 2026, making it the first global-scale government event in the Middle East to integrate AI across its full project management lifecycle. The summit opened in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs. His Highness recognized WeCarbon’s contribution to the summit and commended our team’s work.
Global Food Week 2026 was its largest edition to date, with a record 97 agreements signed over three days, valued at AED 6.9 billion. GFSS convened government officials, representatives of international organizations and private-sector leaders, with speakers from 30 countries under the theme “Global Collaboration for Food Security for All.”
Organized by ADNEC Group with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and ADAFSA, and delivered by the Sino-International Entrepreneurs Federation (SIEF), the summit brought the Presidential Court, ministries and partners into one PMO. Embedded within the PMO, Evane™ participated in working meetings, captured decisions and actions, surfaced bottlenecks, supported planning, and maintained real-time visibility across multiple workstreams and information sources.
